A matched keyboard and mouse set is often the tidiest way to upgrade a home-office desk: one receiver, one battery routine and better ergonomics than mismatched peripherals. We tested combos for eight-hour comfort, typing noise, wrist posture, battery life and switching between devices, excluding gaming sets. Prices were checked on Amazon UK in September 2026, and a couple of sets we used to list (Microsoft Bluetooth Desktop, Keychron B1 Pro + M4 as a set) are not available as combos, so alternatives are named.
1. Logitech MX Keys S Combo: best overall
£154.98, rated 4.6 stars from 58 ratings (limited stock). The MX Keys S keyboard with an MX Master 3S mouse, three-device switching, USB-C charging and near-silent clicks. Superb typing feel, and the best all-round set. Premium cost, and the mouse is right-handed only.
2. Logitech MK540 Advanced: best value
£37, rated 4.4 stars from more than 4,100 ratings. A full-size keyboard with number pad and a right-hand mouse on one receiver, with long battery life. No backlight or multi-device switching, but about 80% of the everyday experience for a fraction of the price.
3. Logitech MK950 Signature Slim: best for typists
£59.49, rated 4.6 stars from 211 ratings. A slim keyboard and mouse combo with a laptop-style keystroke, replacing the Microsoft Bluetooth Desktop we used to list.
4. Logitech MK295 Silent: best for shared spaces
£23.32, rated 4.3 stars from more than 2,800 ratings. SilentTouch keys and mouse for a claimed 90% noise reduction, plug-and-play with one receiver. Membrane feel and no backlight, but remarkably quiet and cheap.
5. Dell Pro Plus KM7120W: best compact business combo
£49.06, rated 4.4 stars from 238 ratings. A compact programmable wireless keyboard and mouse set. It takes the place of the Keychron B1 Pro combination as our budget multi-device pick.

Wired vs wireless
Wireless suits fixed desks: fewer cables, easier repositioning and no perceptible lag. All the sets here are wireless, and most include a USB receiver alongside or instead of Bluetooth.
Verdict
For most home workers, spend the money once on the MX Keys S Combo: the typing comfort and three-device switching pay you back every day. Budget-conscious users should consider the MK540 Advanced for about 80% of the experience for a fraction of the price, and the MK295 Silent is the pick for shared rooms.
